LURE COURSING TRAINING CLINICS!
Do you or your club or organization want to run lure coursing events? Do you want to learn how to be a safe and well-rounded lure operator?
Wicked Coursing now offers 3 and 5 day intensive training clinics! We come to you!
We'll train up to 10 of your crew in all phases of lure coursing in a 3 or 5 day Intensive clinic at your site.* This is a hands-on, highly-comprehensive training regime with individual attention to all the ins-and-outs of all aspects of coursing. These courses are for everyone - breeders, individuals, organizations, teams, new or old clubs - anyone!
Each student receives:
- 50-page Field Training Manual
- Pet First Aid book
- 6 hours (3-Day course) or 12 hours (5-Day course) classroom course work
- 12 hours (3-Day course) or 16+ hours (5-Day course) hands-on field work
- After the final exam and upon successful completion of the course, each student will receive a personalized Certificate of Achievement suitable for framing.
*You must have your own equipment (preferably ours!) and a sufficient number of dogs to run with every day for several hours. The courses include:

The 3-Day Intensive teaches a combination of class work and field work, including:
- Lure Coursing Field Positions
- Lure Coursing Basics
- Creating a safe course
- What is an unsafe course
- Keeping the dogs on track
- Safety & First Aid
- Gait & locomotion - evaluating dogs for safe coursing
- Dog safety on the field:
- General Injuries
- Injuries Specific to Lure Coursing
- First Aid Basics
- Equipment Operation & Maint.
- Course Layouts & Field Work
Domestic Pricing:
- Course: $2,095 (includes 3 day course plus 2 days travel)
- Travel fare and hotel accommodations are additional and must be arranged and paid in advance by client
- Please allow 30-45 days prior notice for booking
